Attack the Block is an utter delight. Maybe it’s the heavy movies about social unrest and political upheaval in periods of strife throughout the last six decades of England’s history, but for whatever reason, a streetwise stoner horror comedy about an alien invasion was just the palate cleanser we needed. (And it even manages a little bit of social commentary on the sly.)
