Season 2, Episode 5 – Hiking Disaster: Jeff Jones

Jeff Jones, an avid hiker and outdoorsman, takes on the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim hike with his wife and a group of others. Spanning nearly 24-miles, hikers descend below the level of the rim, across the mighty Colorado River, and climb back up the other side. Jeff is only halfway through the 12–15-hour hike when he realizes something is terribly wrong. His only choice is to keep moving. He nearly makes it to the help waiting on the other side when he collapses. Hear how Jeff survived this near-death experience. He returned with a message.
