"As a future health care provider, and as an RN currently, I do bring a different perspective and skill set based on how I've learned to deal with my own disability. And I can use those skills and methods to explore new alternatives with patients. And that's a benefit that my disability brings to my classroom, my classmates, my faculty, my patients.
