Small Businesses are the back bone of America and many of them are family owned and operated. Numerous business owners want to know how to level up their family operated venture and today we touch on the importance of Procedures and Policies. You need to have them in place if you are going to grow with your family business. Hiring, firing, working with, and working for family can be tough at times, but you need to understand it's just business and you need to do what's best for that... it might not necessarily be hiring your kids to continue the operation.

A Little About Me:
I am an Indiana native who migrated down to Central Florida. I started my career in Corporate America, but wanted more for myself and my family. I quickly found success in Roofing, specially, Tile Roofs. I moved to Costa Rica for five years and continued my entrepreneurial journey there with Real Estate Development. Those five years taught me the ins and outs of clay tile and have been specializing in Tile for over 35 years! I came back to America and now sit on the board for the Florida Building Code for Roofing. I'm also a member of the Florida's Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA). As I continue with my roofing business, I thoroughly enjoy helping and mentoring other entrepreneurs, guiding them to success!
