Right now, everything in the world points to the external. We celebrate records, numbers, times, accomplishments, achievements, wins, and dollars. Those are all things that we can see, measure, and compare. And you might think, “what’s wrong with that? It’s been working for us. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
I would argue that the system of only looking on the outside is broken. That’s taking the easy way out. Anyone can see the external results. That’s the fruit. We can all see the fruit, but it’s much harder to see the root. We can’t easily see what’s really happening inside someone. We can see a change in their actions, but it’s difficult to notice what is really happening to cause those changes.
In this episode, we look at how to take a deep internal look at yourself or at others to learn how to celebrate the wins that matter the most.
