After a personal and impactful experience as the lead role in their high school’s production Peter Pan, Jamie’s desire to be involved in theater was solidified. For the school’s next show, Jamie was brought on as a stage manager and realized they had a knack for overseeing productions and taking authority when needed.
This passion continued into college until the COVID-19 pandemic brought live theater to a halt. Jamie was thrust into uncertainty, discovering new and important aspects of their personal identity. While stage managing is at the center of our conversation, Jamie’s story explores how life can always change and get better.
