Mindset is a very big topic and could be better explained in length or in person. There are two types of mindsets, Fixed and Growth. Before getting into that, lets define what a mindset is. 
A mindset is an established set of attitudes and beliefs held by a person. When I'm coaching people, these are some of the areas I look at to better help that person. How can you develop a Growth Mindset? Get a coach which is the fastest way, mentor, and learn from others by mirroring them. 
When dealing with Fixed Mindset, you need to look at how you deal with challenges and the outlook. Is it a positive or negative outlook? How do you receive criticism?
