It's almost time for the next event in the Trials of Athan. One last errand needs to be run for everyone's favorite Artificer-Professor-in-a-Makeshift- Witness-Protection-Program which calls for our heroes-to-be to make their way to the armpit of Caraquette City: a notorious and mysterious market known as "The Raven."

All across the Eastern Continent, HEROES are born every day. 

While most people exhibit mundane characteristics, a small segment of the population show the talent for learning skills and abilities that seem impossible. While these hero-touched children sometimes manifest gifts young, it’s only through THE EXAM, a mandatory exam for all youth across the Continent to test their ability to manifest these talents. Upon receiving their results, students are instructed to choose one of a half-dozen highly revered Academies devoted to their further education.
