A magical and fun episode! Join our host Jordan Banks and guest Brittany Lowe of "Rein or Shine Horse Massage" for My Magical Horse ~ The Podcast's VERY FIRST "IN PERSON" chat!

This episode opens with a very special "Q'oya Sacred Space Prayer" read by Brittany, that we were introduced to by Dr. Tracy Rainwaters in her course "Alchemy Of The Soul."

Two friends discussing their respective journey's into animal communication and energy healing, which often parallel each other. The two share their personal experiences and insights throughout this conversation, including how they first met AND how Brittany helped Jordan when Ugo suffered a potentially life ending injury about a year ago ~

Brittany recalls connecting with animals easily in childhood, but that ability was later suppressed due to traumatic events she experienced as a child and young adult. Ultimately it was her experiences with horses that led her to becoming an equine massage therapist and later an energy healer and animal communicator.

This conversation highlights the importance of releasing fear, trusting your intuition, and making space to allow magical moments to unfold in unexpected ways.

Brittany started an entrepreneurial venture with the goal of buying a horse at the early age of just eight-years-old. She got that horse, "Jake" on her 11th birthday.

Jake, a former NFR barrel racer, turned out to be much older and less sound than he was marketed as, however Brittany says he was definitely meant for her and turned out to be an invaluable teacher in her youth.

Brittany recalls her experiences with Jake, Goldie and then Cover Girl, who ultimately led her into a career in equine bodywork, instead of her intended path as a Production Operations Manager at Boeing.

While in her Junior Year of college, Brittany lost all three of these childhood horses within a 6-month period. It sent her into a spiral of grief and unhealthy coping mechanisms. Looking back at it now, Brittany says it was needed to teach her "how" to grieve for the biggest loss yet to come.

A week before she graduated, Brittany's father was diagnosed with 14 brain tumors. He died within 5 months of his diagnosis.

But prior to that diagnosis, after all the equine losses Brittany had experienced, her Dad insisted that she get another horse, even though she had "sworn off" horses.

That next horse "Frankie" ultimately bonded closely with Brittany's dad and led to a profound shift in his understanding and appreciation of Brittany's newly chosen career path. He finally recognized the importance of Brittany's work and encouraged her to pursue her passion and the career that would bring her the most joy and fulfillment.

Energy Work and Healing Journey

Brittany's journey into energy work and animal communication began during the COVID-19 pandemic when she was unable to work due to licensing restrictions on massage therapists.

During that time, Brittany discovered she had unprocessed grief from not only her father's death, but also the death of her best friend when she was just 12-years-old. This led to extreme PTSD during the pandemic and ultimately led her to begin her own healing journey.

She found a program which introduced her to meditation and applied kinesiology, a method of muscle testing that helps determine vibrational energies of yes or no.

She used applied kinesiology to find specific vitamins that would benefit her health, and continues to use it daily for both herself and the lives of her horses.

Brittany and Jordan have worked with many of the same teachers and healers and ultimately met in person after realizing they were both members of Shayleigh & Amber's Tea House and that they happen to live local to one another.

Animal Teachings and Mindset Shifts

Jordan and Brittany go on to celebrate the spiritual significance of animals, particularly horses and how they can teach us about perspective and surrender. They explore the concept of changing one's mindset to see the best possible outcomes rather than focusing on worst-case scenarios.
