Daddy issues will have you rejecting your identity until you are reminded that earthly things are not our treasures.
Colossians 1:16 says, "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him."
My issue was that I kept wanting my physical daddy to be my biological daddy and my biological daddy, who is the Creator, sits in heaven and makes time to talk with me, walk with me, tell me that I am his own. And I know that HE is my daddy because you see, I have my Daddy's DNA! The DNA of compassion, tenderness, faithfulness, gentleness, of LOVE!
TODAY I PRAY YOU REMEMBER WHO YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS! AND THE INHERITANCE YOU HAVE BECAUSE YOU BELONG TO HIM!
