Once we recognize our gifts in Christ, we can believe our own strength allows us to perform these gifts. From there, we can actually presume on God and sign up for or join ourselves to things or people that are above our experience level. We will run headlong into danger because we believe our gifts will cover us and make up for the experience we lack. We need to be very careful we do not bite off more than we can chew.
