On the Thursday show:
(0:00) Joe begins with the Phillies loss to Arizona. It’s now 2-1 Phillies in the series, and Joe has questions about certain moves made along the way. But Joe plays the Rob Thomson postgame press conference, and some things made more sense, like how Cristopher Sanchez is pitching in game 4.
(28:00) Also, Joe mentions the story of Grace Del Pizzo, a suburban Philly girl and daughter of one of my high school classmates who jokingly mentions how pole climbing is easier around Phoenix.
(34:08) Joe briefly talks the Eagles. Eagles lost a game to the Jets, and it was bound to happen. Injuries coming in and during the game played a role, as well as some bounces that just didn’t go the Eagles way. Just got to make sure this doesn’t happen Sunday vs. Miami.
Also, Eagles are wearing the Kelly green on Sunday night, and Joe thinks if there is one good thing about these jerseys, Joe will be able to read the numbers better. But Joe is still adamant that the Eagles picked the wrong Kelly greens to wear!
(48:48) Joe then tackles the new controversy in Ann Arbor has Michigan may have broken rules scouting teams. Michigan State didn’t want to play Michigan this weekend (but will), and other smoke from this fire is burning right now. But what will the NCAA do if this is found to be true?
(1:01:19) Then some Philly Phade action as Joe gives his college and pro football picks for the weekend.
(1:13:19) Finally, Joe wanted to clear the air on a few things, like why there wasn’t a Tuesday pod, and some personal things that have been going on lately.
