On a Friday edition of the TPGS:

Joe begins with some Eagles talk. Eagles go 2-0 after a Thursday night win in Philly, and Joe is feeling slightly better after the frustrating win in Foxboro on Sunday.

Then Joe talks about Aaron Rodgers’ season ending injury. Joe thinks it could be a blessing in disguise that Rodgers tore his left Achillies since his right leg is the leg he would push off of to throw. But Joe thinks the NFLPA wouldn’t be making as big a deal about every stadium having an all grass field if Rodgers was hurt on a grass field while JK Dobbins, who blew his Achilles out on a grass field, had done it on the MetLife turf.

Micah Parsons called out the Giants for leaving Danny Dimes in the game when the score was 40-0 in the final quarter. Yeah, I don’t understand that either.

The Phillies congratulated the Atlanta Braves on their video board on winning the National League East. Maybe Joe is missing something, but wasn’t it neat to see Houston congratulate the Phillies when they clinched a wild card berth at the end of last season? Last year was cool, but this isn’t?
