There’s no denying that when it comes to diversity the creative and design industry is still a work in progress.  Is the industry has progressed in hiring welcoming and accepting brown designers? Is there still a stigma of being a designer? What can creatives who are of colour do to excel in the industry? I sit down with Kapil Lad, a designer from New Zealand to discuss what it means to be a brown (indian) graphic and digital designer in the modern world.
