Meet Sheri Horwitz! Sheri is a high school teacher who has taught over 2,000 students over the past 12 years. She currently teaches English at Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and yes-- we are related! Sheri is my sister-in-law and married to my brother, Adam! In this episode, Sheri talks about how she incorporates her passion for acting and movies in her work, how she stays motivated and excited when teaching the same material, we go over some tricks of the trade for a more efficient teaching schedule, and talk about how being a teacher is a core part of her identity and something she can’t just turn off.
