In Pep Guardiola’s three years at the club, Manchester City have become something of a cheat code. This season, they picked up all of the domestic trophies available to them. Only the Champions League eludes Guardiola. 

But where the on-pitch is going swimmingly, the off-pitch leaves a little more to be desired. As Manchester City have made the Premier League Top Six less competitive, there have been increasingly concerning stories about the mechanisms by which this success has happened coming out in the press.
