The countdown to Easter continues with the focus in this episode on 'Failed Friends'
Take a look at Matthew 26
Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus - 14 Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15 and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. 16 From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over. 50 Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.”
We focus in on the failed friend of Judas or we focus on the faithfulness of Jesus…but so much detail of different responses as the story heads towards the cross.
In 2025 we are Walking Well, thinking about our decision to choose the narrow way. Encouraging each other to find space to grow and have a go to make disciples and serve the city. Understanding how to walk with Jesus and what that means for our heart, soul, mind and strength.Walking Well – We are made to walk in the garden as friends of God. We are made to walk humbly, doing what is right and loving mercy. We are made to walk as children of Light. We are made to walk worthy of the calling we’ve received.
