KEY TAKEAWAYS:

  • Research indicates that when you bring animals into your home it can prime your brain and help prepare you biologically and emotionally to move forward in the next part of your family-building process.
  • At LOLA, the on-boarding process following parental leave is just as important as the off-boarding process. It’s also mutually beneficial for the business as well as the new parent and can help businesses continue to grow and thrive.
  • As we try new things or step into new identities and roles it's all about learning to be more comfortable in moments that don't have a natural resolution. It’s about learning to be okay in the highs and lows.
