The demand for "The Collection II" is the one of the reasons this podcast was started!  The Bo-Hosts ( along with millions of Redheads and fellow fans )  already KNEW Sammy's incredibly successful, but long neglected,  tenure in Van Halen deserved EQUAL respect & consideration to "The Collection", but that it would first require a sonic upgrade to again make this knowledge FACT!  Sammy's  stretch of multi-platinum albums are what Rock and Roll legacies are built and fans have waited so long for this to happen.  All we can say is... "It's About Time"!

But is this package worth the wait?  Would Mikey's bass finally be excavated and elevated to the levels it so rightly deserves??  Is revisiting the aural recipes we all know and love a slippery slope? Would 5150, and especially Ou812, get the added clarity and crispness that current technologies allow???
