With tensions high within the party, Kadath and Aria discuss what waits for them at Crystal Brook and Rook speaks with her god. The party returns to Nottingham and has a go pulling the blade again, resulting in someone very nearly pulling it. Along the path to Crystal Brook, the party comes to a roadblock, a choice to take the forest path or the mountain path.
