After being stranded by the roadside, an incredible chance encounter by a stranger started Jean on the path to tell his story and commit it to pen and paper. What initially started as a way to document his memories turned into a book filled with an incredibly powerful story of childhood innocence lost , survival, courage, and forgiveness. The Genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda was one of the most horrific events of modern history.
