This week’s guest is Nancy’s new colleague Georgia Goulding at Give Me Sport Women so we hear about how the website is focusing on growing coverage of women’s sport. Georgia shares her interest in women’s sport and journalist background and how the media is building a momentum across the younger generations. It was a fabulous weekend for women in sport last week at Ireland’s Rachael Blackmore makes history by winning the world’s most prestigious steeplechase, the Grand National at Aintree in England. And making the news and history were a few other British athletes who have made their form known as we mark 100 days to the Tokyo Olympic Games. We also hear how sports crowds are slowly emerging again after the pandemic not least of all at the new Racing Louisville v Orlando Pride in the NWSL. Also maintaining their unbeaten record was the US team holding Sweden to a 1-1 draw and beating France 2-0 in their International Friendly games in Europe.
