In this Episode, we sat down with Josephine Murphy and had a candid discussion on living intentionally with your WHY at the forefront on everything you do. As a mother of two, her family is her number 1 priority and her first mission is to build a successful life around what really counts.
Josephine Murphy is the Co-founder and President of Shelter Them Poverty Relief, a non-profit organization since 2005 with a mission is to empower vulnerable and underprivileged children in Rwanda. Her goal is to ensure that the children are integrated into an environment where their basic growth and development needs are met, and by subsequently providing them and their families with the tools and resources for them to have a bright, independent and sustainable future. It is in her ultimate vision to see the whole of Africa becoming united with strong leadership.
She is also the founder of Life Talk with Josephine, a powerful program with key topics about day-to-day life and useful insights. She utilizes her life story and experience to inspire people to do what inspires them so that, together, each of us can change our world for the better.
She believes that the future of our generation’s effectiveness lies in our responsibility to lead and equip our young people with the knowledge and skills to ultimately become effective and interdependent members in our world. Her focus is on emotional health which is mostly ignored but the very powerful factor that drives all our actions.
With a vision to change the way families think, act, and operate, she has developed a unique model based on fundamental principles to help overwhelmed parents, single parents and blended families build a successful life, be champions at work, and lead with confidence.
She inspires and motivates businesses, churches, and ministries on a variety of topics related to day to day life with useful insights. She has been speaking publicly for more than 20 years. He has keynoted events in different schools, churches. She has also appeared on few television and radio shows, including 100 Huntley Street on CTS, Rogers and more.
