Laura Kirkpatrick is a model who grew up on a farm in Kentucky. Her modeling career took off after being on America’s Next Top Model, but modeling still came with its own set of challenges and mindset hurdles.

Laura recently founded Kentucky Darling meats with her Dad, and shares the winding journey and sacrifices of being a business owner.

Laura has learned how doing things to make others happy won't fulfill us in life. She has had to reprioritize her time since having her daughter and maintaining her overall health and well-being as a mother. She has been guilty of being her harshest critic, and now tries to speak and act more confidently in her career, business ventures, and daily life.
