Rick Rubin is one of the most revered and constant producers since the 80's. He was the founder and owner of Def Jam Records until the early 2000's. Rick still to this day is making music with rappers and rockers alike. He is a multi time grammy award winner who has won with artist like Adele, Eminem, Jay Z, The Dixie Chicks, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Johnny Cash to name a few.
