Leading approximately 5,000 people, Beth Steele serves as Owensboro Health’s Chief Operating Officer. With extensive experience in daily hospital operations and serving first, as a nurse, Beth used her knowledge, hard work, dedication to healthcare, and servant leadership to get where she is today. She is exactly the kind of leader you want to work with. She has implemented several workforce innovations and been integral in forming nursing shared governance, among many other initiatives. It is clear that Beth has found her calling of taking care of the people that take care of people. She shares her experience navigating her own health struggles and how she is feeling today.
