On this episode we interview Phil Rossi, a musician, producer, writer, and voice actor. He fronts the Washington, DC based industrial groove machine, Gravity Lens and also enjoys a healthy solo artist career, playing acoustic at pubs and vineyards all over the DC metro area. In 2016, he is planning the full launch of After Life Productions offering music production, voice over, and other creative services. In recent years, he has focused on sound design and industrial/electronic music composition and performance techniques. He has been deeply involved with fiction writing, blogging, and new media since he released his first podcast in 2006. In 2007, Phil released his debut, Amazon best-selling novel Crescent. Phil has a passion for story-telling matched only by the pleasure he derives from keeping his fans awake at night. Since it’s initial release, Crescent has lured tens of thousands of readers and listeners into a dark, twisted world of nightmares and things that go bump in the night. Phil’s writing has been paralleled to Stephen King, Philip K. Dick, and HP Lovecraft. He has a flair for vivid and often chilling imagery that lends itself to engrossing narratives and an undertone of inescapable, creeping dread. Phil is planning an ambitious 2016. He and his bandmates are presently in the studio recording the debut Gravity Lens EP and planning a healthy live performance schedule. He is currently recording material for release with his solo electronic project Mass R3lay. 2016 will also represent Phil's return to the podcasting world. He neck deep in a brand new novel with the intention of serializing as a podcast. http://www.philrossi.net http://www.afterlifeproductions.com http://www.gravitylensdc.com
