There are few words more powerful in a mans life than to hear that he is highly respected. As young men we are told that this thing which is so important to us has to be earned. It seems love is supposed to be unconditional yet respect is very conditional. At times we have gone to great lengths to facilitate being respected and sometimes we have done things we regretted when we felt dis-respected!

Many of us have tried to purchase respect through the acquisition of possessions but the tradeoff is costly and those things didn't generate the lasting respect we craved. 

Real respect is earned through service and availability to the people you love and whom love you. Turn on your respect generating factory by being present. Basic Dude Stuff as Fernando  always says, I couldn't agree more.
