My guest today has a career that certainly stands out. Major Victoria Flood is the Commanding Officer of the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery.
Victoria has had an expansive career in the military, from driving the Queen’s horses on state occasions to being one of the first women to work for the Royal Mews.
After training at Sandhurst, the Royal Military Academy, Victoria joined the royal artillery as a Troop Commander. She served in Afghanistan, where she led soldiers firing long-range missiles in the counterinsurgency campaign.
Victoria’s job has been incredibly exciting – she has travelled extensively, met many high-profile people, and most recently, she hosted Her Majesty the Queen at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
