Job highlight: Dr. Sinha is a member of Intel’s Logic Technology
Development group where he works on Intel 4,Intel 3 and PowerVia
technologies. He is involved as a Data Scientist for Image
Classification of multiple systems and defects.
His research training set him up to be able to work on material science
related problems at the nanoscale and transition to development engineer
in industry.
Shayandev Sinha did his Bachelors and Masters from IIT Kanpur in India
and his PhD from University of Maryland, College Park - all in
mechanical engineering. He mostly worked on problems in fluid mechanics,
nanoparticles, simulation, additive manufacturing and solid-fluid
interactions at nanoscale. After his PhD he was a Research fellow at
Rowland Institute at Harvard University working on problems related to
wetting and droplet motion for bioengineering applications. From 2019 he
is at Intel Corporation - Technology Development group working on Intel
4, 3 and PowerVia technologies. In his spare time he volunteers in an
ecological conservation project in Scappoose Oregon and dips his mind
into Indian philosophies of Yoga and Vedanta.
