In today's episode I sit down with my good friend, Crystal and we talk about her decision to be child free by choice. Voluntary childlessness, also called being childfree, describes the voluntary choice not to have children. A new study by the Pew Research Center surveyed over 3,800 Americans ages 18 to 49. It found that among non-parents in this cohort, 44% said it's not too likely or not likely at all they'll have kids someday. That's up by 7 percentage points from the 37% of childless adults who said the same in 2018 (Business Insider).

Millennials are choosing not to have children due to climate change, inflation, student loan debt, child-care expenses, mental health, racism and more. Crystal shares her thoughts on her decision and her response to those that ask her "why don't you have some babies". We also discuss how we're moving into a new age of women no longer having the choice to choose.
