*More money for the non-custodial parent can lead to higher child support. *Big changes in income can trigger a review. *For changes, you need to file a motion looking at incomes and how much time the child spends with each parent.

If the non-custodial parent makes a lot more, you might ask for more child support. The court checks both parents' money and the child's time with each other.
