Introduction:
Hello everybody, I’m H.J. and welcome to today’s podcast episode. In today’s podcast
episode, I’m going to be giving my predictions as to what features I want to see Microsoft implement or reimplement in Windows 12, and why they would be essential for a newer and improved operating system.

Main Body 1:
The first and main thing that I want to see return to Windows in Windows 12 is the taskbar
orientation. While this feature may seem like the lesser of the five features I would like to see, I do believe that it needs to be returned simply because of the aesthetic nature of the feature, and the number of people that would also love to see this feature return.

Main Body 2:
The second and most important feature of Windows 12 that would make Windows 12 a better operating system, is a reversion to the original security and hardware requirements that we saw with Windows 10, as Windows 11 left a lot of PCs behind because many just simply didn’t meet one or more of the hardware requirements. While I believe the security of Windows 11 was paramount, I do not believe that the hardware requirements should have been absolutely necessary.

Main Body 3:
The third feature I would like to see in Windows 12 is the idea of a floating and
more “MacOS” type taskbar. This will make things seemingly a lot better and more pleasing. In addition to this, Microsoft should add their version of the finder app, and MacOS search bar settings for the taskbar and logon/shutdown options.

Main Body 4:
The fourth feature I would LOVE to see in Windows 12 is the ability to use quick resume on any Microsoft Store game, such as Minecraft, Cities Skylines, and Doom Eternal for PC. This feature, quick resume, is a feature that is currently only native to Xbox Series X|S consoles, and I feel that this feature would be much needed for the PC gaming space.

Main Body 5 & Outro:
My last and final feature I would like to see included in Windows 12 is the ability to run Apple apps just like you can in the Windows subsystem for Android and Linux. The only challenge to achieve this is they would have to go through Apple, and…Apple well…they’re
like, “Nope!”. Anyways if there are any features I may have missed, please reach out to me on Twitter or via email. If you haven’t donated there’s a link for that as well. Thank you all for listening and I’m gone.
