S4E11: Dracula’s Spice Rack & Van Helsing’s Sweet Revenge
In this episode, Julie asks Dave if he would consider playing Boggle with her, and we discuss the nature of real-time games. Then, in our Tales from the Table this week, we discuss our recent plays of Chess and how our manner of learning the game has influenced our playstyles. Next, we discuss our resummoning of the game Dracula vs. Van Helsing by Maxime Rambourg and Théo Rivière, a 2p game we decided to bring back out to get in the mood for the Halloween season! We also discuss a newcomer to our jester's shelf: Sweet & Spicy, a cat-themed bluffing card game by Győri Zoltán Gábor. Finally, we provide an update for Ark Nova by Mathias Wigge and whether it will move on to face the trials of the JESTER'S GAMBIT (10x10 challenge)...or be cast aside at the fool's crossing, never to return.
