Anja shares updates on LandFlex’s Phase II, focusing on four Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) qualified for the program. 

The applications received for Phase II were competitive, with unique approaches to protecting underground water, including prioritizing areas with heavy subsidence and areas with existing recharge. Other components of the LandFlex program, such as fallowing and transitioning away from overdrafts and the challenges farmers face in deciding to participate.
