James 1:2-5:  Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom you should as God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Hebrews 4:14-15:  So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.  This high priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.

Hebrews 2:14 :  Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.

Quote from Proverbs teaching, “ Through His death, Jesus defeated death for us… For those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives, death isn’t the end.  Its another beginning.  Death is but a passageway to God’s designated time for us to finally escape this broken world full of imperfections and be welcomed to the home we’ve been longing for our entire lives.”  (Lysa TerKeurst)

Quote proverbs 31:  “ But even the Levitical priests charged with the Israelites’ religious duties were not perfect and were first required to offer sacrifices for their own sins.  Although the earthly priests lived imperfect, finite lives, God had a better plan in the form of a priest… Jesus was “holy, innocent, unstained, separated from diners and ex
