In this interview episode I am delighted to welcome Rebecca Shaw to the podcast. Bex is a Lead Principal Consultant at Burendo here in Leeds and has also recently launched an exciting new business venture; Rebecca Shaw Coaching, as a women in tech career fulfilment coach!
Bex has always been in a career in a STEM background, and found many of her roles to be male dominated. She is a natural leader and has a great interest in people development, and has generously shared her experience as a Women in Tech mentor and coach. She is perfectly placed to support women who are keen to explore a career in tech given her personal lived experience plus the added benefit of being a certified coach.
Today I'm keen to hear from Bex about the benefits of mentoring and bust some myths about what it's actually like to be a Woman in tech....
