Gary and Phoebe are adapting to their new lives as parents, especially as they go through the sleepless nights stage, as Michael seems to be grizzly through the night. Phoebe orders Gary to take Michael out for a late night walk in his pushchair in an attempt to settle him. However, disaster strikes when a bomb lands on Ducketts Passage, causing chaos in the 1940s, and blasting Gary back to the 1990s… and a new time traveller as Michael seems to have found his way into the future too.
