Supervised parenting is an option when deciding parenting time. One parent might not trust the other's skills. They want a third party to supervise.

*Supervised visits are rare and exceptional. *Most parents manage without supervision. *Supervision may be needed if one parent has serious issues like drug addiction.

Ask for supervised visits. Show it's best for the child. Provide a history. Be consistent with how you've managed parenting in the past. The request should be in good faith and make sense.
