On this weeks Noobs show, Sean gets to interview someone who really helped him when he was first getting started with the sport of kayak angling. Tonight’s guest, Devin Winwand, has spent pretty much his whole life out on the water. His family owns Shank’s Mare which is a paddlesport shop on the shore of the Susquehanna River. Devin has a ton of experience as a paddling instructor, teaching the class that got Sean into kayaking for over 20 years, but also has gotten into kayak angling as well. Together Sean and Devin dive into some paddling techniques and tips as they relate to paddling and maintaining position in moving water. Paddling in current can be intimidating for new anglers, but with the right technique and some time on the water, fishing in current can be some of the most productive water you can find!
