For some families & cultures; smacking your child is used as a form of discipline. So normalised, you'd find children exchanging stories on the school playground, as a "badge of honour". But as each generation creates new traditions, we ask, is this form of discipline outdated? Was it ever right and can the same results be achieved using other methods?
