Listen Later

"It's like March Madness, but for wine documentaries"—from the rolling hills of Alba and Asti to the dolomitic alps of Trentino-Alto Adige.

Help us finish our wine travel show! www.mododibere.com

Emilia Aghamirzai is my cohost for Season 5, a special behind-the-scenes travel adventure series in support of Wine Doc Face Off, a crowdfunding tournament for Modo di Bere TV.

We've filmed 8 seasons of our wine and langauge travel show, on three continents! Now you decide which season we edit and air first, by recording your vote when you support our campaign for post-production.

It's all happening at www.mododibere.com, where you can watch the trailers for both seasons and learn more about these beautiful wine regions and their local dialects!

Voting closes Saturday, March 7 at 11:59 am New York time, so get in there and record your vote!

The hotel we loved in Kastelbel (Castelbello) was Genusshotel Panorama.

The Italian language moment with Daniela around 18 moments speaks of how "dialect" and proverbs express the truth of things, and how Piemontese should be taught to the children.

You can also watch this episode at youtube.com/@mododiberepodcast
...where Daniela's section can be watched with translated subtitles and you can see some moments from both our behind-the-scenes phone footage and a clips from our footage for Modo di Bere TV!
