Meet Levis Chidolo Kajibwami, a multifaceted filmmaker, writer, spoken word artist, and dedicated youth leader hailing from Bukavu, DRC. Since relocating to Uganda in 2010 as a refugee, Levis has harnessed the power of storytelling to foster healing, empowerment, and transformative change in his community.

As the co-founder and Executive Director of Voice of Refugee Media (VORM), Levis champions the stories of refugees through innovative mediums like film, photography, and digital storytelling. His notable productions, including "Ntumba: The Refugee Despite Him" and "The Outcomes," delve into the resilience and challenges faced by those living the refugee experience.

A self-taught artist and certified filmmaker, Levis believes that narratives—especially those from marginalized voices—can ignite meaningful conversations and bridge divides within communities. Beyond his film work, he is passionate about mentoring the next generation, particularly fellow refugees. He leads acting classes, conducts digital skills training, and supports creative initiatives that empower youth to share their stories and make their voices heard.

Levis also contributes to marketing and promotion at Stream Asylum, a refugee-led media organization, furthering his mission of amplifying diverse voices through art and advocacy.
