Todd Field. Cate Blanchett. A match made in heaven. Tár tells the story of a woman at the top of her field with no where to go but into the stratosphere. Instead we see this deeply controlled, cultivated character depiction of a woman unravelling. Cate Blanchett is at her best here, and we couldn't get enough.
