Home schooling wasn’t easy for any parent during the pandemic. It gave many a wider appreciation of how hard it is to be an educator. But some parents have taken the opportunity to take a strong grip of their child’s education and continue home schooling even post lockdown. Are Black children overall better off being educated by their own parents and does the current schooling curriculum work and benefit Black kids?
