Tonight on Bass Fishing for Noobs, we welcome Georgia kayak angler Joseph “G-Man” Gayton to the show. Joe is an accomplished tournament angler in Georgia and has been doing very well on kayak fishing tournament scene in Georgia.

One of the baits that Joe attributes a lot of his success recently to is the neko rig. Joe joins Sean and breaks down how he uses the neko rig to put big fish in the boat. We start by breaking down what a neko rig is, and the tackle Joe uses, as well as some helpful rigging tips for saving nail weights!

Joe also covers where he likes to throw the neko rig, including how he changes it up for windy or off-shore conditions. He covers his choice of rod and reel, and his line setup for using this technique. He talks a bit about color choice and when he uses different weights as well.
