This podcast is a continuation of my journal-ling of my work with children who are experiencing social, emotional and behavioral difficulties, the focus of today's episode is children learn what they live. I begin by looking at some of the negatives that can impact a child's life and while a lot of these may be external to schools some of them are also unfortunately evident within school environments and indeed some classrooms.

I concede that some of these negatives can have become embedded before children enter the schooling system but that this actually should make us even more aware of accentuating the positives of encouragement, tolerance, praise, acceptance, approval, recognition, sharing, honesty & fairness, security, friendliness and serenity. I ask the question, what are the children in our schooling system living?
