"What happened to following our interests just because they’re interesting to us?"

I think we subconsciously buy into the idea that once we reach a certain point, achieve a certain goal, or have a certain job, then we'll be happy. There are so many narratives we passively live our lives by and accept without second thought. What if we choose to question everything instead? To be curious and unafraid to ask why. 

In this episode I discuss my thoughts about how as adults, we lose the wonder and curiosity many of us experienced as children and forget to question our environments and perspectives. There’s so much value in  continually reflecting and reassessing the way we choose to live our lives. By asking questions like: what happened to following our interests just because they’re interesting to us?, maybe we can all live more meaningful lives. 

I also discuss why although it's scary in the moment, taking a leap of faith and pursuing something that scares you actually makes loads of sense. There are so many unimagined benefits to be had. What's the worst that can happen?
