Notably, he served as president of both the Maryland Tourism Council and the National Golf Course Owner's Association.

In his pursuit of podcasting excellence, he co-authored "Podcasting Made Simple" and authored "The Tao of Podcasting," drawing from his background in Philosophy and his intricate understanding of the production process.
