S8|E14 Zero Trust for Webex

Listen Later

Cisco introduced End to End (E2E) Encryption in 2008 as a Webex Meeting option where only the meeting participants—and not the Webex cloud—have access to the meeting encryption key. Since most business over the last 12 months has been conducted virtually, the security and confidentiality of meetings has become a priority for our customers.
Cisco expects that end to end encryption will become a commonplace meeting feature as privacy and confidentiality become a baseline expectation from many customers, and we have been driving the delivery of a set of open IETF standards that will allow multiple vendors to adopt E2E encryption as a standard.
Tune in to this episode to learn more about Webex's new standards-based approach for secure and confidential meetings with Zero Trust Security which covers:
- The Webex architecture for Zero Trust End to End Encryption and Identity Verification
- The IETF standards that Zero Trust End to End Encryption and Identity uses
- Secure Frame (S-Frame)/ Message Layer Security (MLS)/ Automatic -
- Certificate Management Environment (ACME)
- Supported Webex Apps and Devices
- Call and data flows
- Customer requirements and options
